01. What are the admission requirements for Ancilla Primary and JHS?

To enroll your child at Ancilla Primary & JHS, you will need to provide a completed application form, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, previous school reports (if applicable), and a recent passport-sized photograph. Additional requirements may include a medical report and an admission fee.

02. What is the age requirement for admission into preschool?

Children must be at least 3 years old by the start of the academic year to be eligible for admission into our preschool program.

03. What curriculum does Ancilla Primary and JHS follow?

Ancilla Primary & JHS follows a comprehensive Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum that combines the national educational standards with a focus on holistic development, character building, and extracurricular activities to ensure a well-rounded education.

04. Are there any extracurricular activities available for students?

Yes, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities including sports, music, arts, drama, and academic clubs to support the diverse interests and talents of our students.

05. How does the school ensure the safety and well-being of students?

The safety and well-being of our students are top priorities. We have strict security measures, including CCTV surveillance, secure entry and exit points, and trained staff to ensure a safe learning environment. Additionally, we have a sick bay stocked with first aid supplies.

06. What are the school hours at Ancilla Primary & JHS?

The school operates from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We also offer after-school programs and care for students who need to stay beyond regular school hours.

07. How are parents involved in the school community?

We encourage active parental involvement through regular parent-teacher meetings, school events, volunteer opportunities, and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Communication is key, and we keep parents informed through newsletters and our school portal.

10. What is the process for transferring from another school to Ancilla Primary and JHS?

For students transferring from another school, parents need to submit the application form along with the student’s previous school reports, a transfer certificate, and any other required documentation. We also conduct an assessment to determine the appropriate class placement for the student.
